Pull up a chair. There’s always room on my porch for you.

Grab a cup of coffee, and don’t mind the chaos. It’s perfectly normal around here.

This isn’t another blog about having it all together. 
It’s a collection of stories.
Some are funny.
Some are messy.
Some are written over a cup of coffee in the morning before the house wakes up.
More often they are written after a long day, when the only sound left is my brain on overdrive.

But I promise they all have heart.

They’re all simply Pages From A Manic Mom.

Four kids.
Married to my junior high sweetheart.
A single-income household.
A busy hobby farm with more goats than most people would consider reasonable.
Too much coffee – if that’s possible.
A never-ending house flip.

Family routines, home projects, honest product finds, books worth losing sleep over, and the beautiful mess in between. Real life isn’t perfect, and neither are we. That’s kind of the point. You’ll find it all right here on the porch with me. 

This little corner of the internet is dedicated to my younger self and the dreams she never quite let go of.
To my family, who unknowingly fill my days with stories worth remembering and sharing.

And to every reader who finds their way to this porch, thank you for spending a little of your day with me. I hope you leave feeling encouraged, understood, or at the very least, reminded that none of us are doing this alone.

And finally, to my big sister, Candie.
You listened to these stories long before there was a blog to share them on. Thank you for always giving me a place to tell them. I miss you, and I miss our conversations.
