TERRY’S TOOLBOX: Rainy Day S’mores

No fancy ingredients. No fire pit. No perfect Pinterest setup. Just cookies, marshmallows, a little mechanical ingenuity, and a whole lot of laughter.

Family s’mores night had been planned and replanned, but the Florida rain drowned our plans again. After a few disappointed groans and the beginning of another ordinary evening routine, Terry simply said, “Wait here,” and headed out to his truck.

A few minutes later he came back carrying a Coleman propane tank and torch.

The next thing we knew, marshmallows were roasting, a campfire promise had been kept, dessert was on the table, and the girls were convinced Dad was a hero.

No fancy ingredients. No fire pit. No picture perfect Pinterest setup.
Just us.
