☕ An Espresso Review: From Ashley 🎄🩵
📖 BOOK: Public Secrets
✍️ AUTHOR: Nora Roberts
📚 GENRE: Romantic Suspense
☕ ESPRESSO RATING: ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
💭 THE FIRST SIP
Child abuse. Sexual assault. Kidnapping. Murder.
📖 WHAT IT’S ABOUT
Emma has a rough start to life. She discovers that her dad is a rock star, and her mother sells her to him. She is raised in a good family until one night, when her baby brother is murdered.
Years later, the killer comes back to silence her when he realizes she may be able to reveal who he is.
❤️ WHAT I LOVED
• She is a strong woman, even though she doesn’t realize it.
• The romance of meeting her love on a beach when she was young, then finding him again years later when she is grown.
• The twists and turns throughout the book, and not knowing who killed her brother and is trying to kill her until the very end.
🤔 WHAT I DIDN’T LOVE
• Nothing! This book will keep you on your toes!
☕ FINAL SIP…
Would I recommend it?
Absolutely!
📚 I’d recommend this if you like:
Romantic suspense • mystery • twists and turns • strong female characters • second-chance romance
☕ Espresso thoughts:
Being along for the ride while Emma uncovers what actually happened all those years ago is what makes this book so compelling. She was a child who blamed herself for her brother’s death, and along the way, she finds love with the young cop she first met on that beach all those years ago.
☕ ESPRESSO RATING:
Edgy, spicy with extra drama sauce. 5/5!

Until next time…
Keep building a beautiful life
between coffee & chaos,
