Espresso Review: Sick Love Duet by Kylie Kent
π BOOK: Sick Love Duet
βοΈ AUTHOR: Kylie Kent
π GENRE: Stalker Romance
β ESPRESSO RATING: βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
π THE FIRST SIP
Unhinged stalker romance.
(Very unhealthy, but so good.) π
π WHAT IT’S ABOUT
Dominic, the nephew of psycho Josh McKinley (from Kylie Kent’s Merge Series), stalks his love interest, Lucy, until he finally gets up the nerve to reveal himself and his dark desires to her.
A great follow-up to Kylie Kent’s Merge Series.
β€οΈ WHAT I LOVED
β Kylie Kent is an amazing author with a real talent for writing funny, feisty banter in the middle of intense stories.
β As unhealthy as it is, I do love a good, creepy stalker story.
β McKinley pigs ππ©Έπ (IYKYK)
β Little Bee π
π€ WHAT I DIDN’T LOVE
β There’s a big cliffhanger at the end of book one, Unhinged Desires. That’s why I read the Sick Love Duet as a whole instead of reading the books individually.
β I love the first-generation characters, so I really wish we had gotten more of a glimpse into their lives, especially his parents, Dean and Ella.
β FINAL SIPβ¦

Would I recommend it?
If you want a binge-worthy, disturbing story, then absolutely!
π I’d recommend this if you like:
Stalker dark romance! Very dark and potentially disturbing! π³
β ESPRESSO THOUGHTS
“She was the sweetest obsession, an addiction like no other.
Losing her, my Little Bee, is the price I’m forced to pay for all the wrongdoings in my life.”
β ESPRESSO RATING: 5/5
